I LOVE my Goldie! Keeps perfect temperature and has made my sourdough bread making journey so much more successful, enjoyable, and stress free!!! Meets every expectation!

I bought the starter jars several years ago and resisted buying the Goldie

I like the jars and found them to be very functional, but I couldn’t pull the trigger on getting the Goldie. I just wasn’t sure. Was it worth the money or not?

After a number of times, I realized that it was cooler in my kitchen then I wanted to admit, and I had a hard time with my Levain or starter, so I decided to take the plunge. All I can say is worth every penny. This really works, and my starters and Levains are very consistent and robust.

I guess we never want to admit that our kitchen or house is actually cooler than we think. This product was definitely worth it.

I need the Quart size. My pint is almost overflowing. I love How easy it is to clean

I love my Goldie a lot! It’s been the perfect answer for me because my home and kitchen is kept chilly with our high humidity temperatures in NE Florida. It keeps my starter the perfect temperature, and it’s actually pretty sitting on the counter.

Jar Bundle: Pint + Quart

This has been a game changer for my starter. Summer we are running the air conditioner and Winter stays on the cooler side. My starter always struggles. Now she is thriving.

Perfect smooth sides and good size.

after trying several different sourdough optional jars I believe I love these the best. The straight sides along with the rubber bands help me keep track of the rise. Thank yo SH! I use both the pint and Quart jars.

I bought both the pint and quart jars and love them both. The pint jar is perfect for my regular sourdough feedings, and when I'm ready to prep for baking, I switch to the quart jar. I have a large crock jar and a large glass jar from another well-known company, but I find Sour House jars to be the epitome of kitchen tools for taking care of my sourdough starter. Thank you for making such great products.

As I embarked on my sourdough journey to have homemade SD bread for my family, I encountered some obstacles, particularly my temperature environment. Counter top proofing was a step I wanted to include but was skipping it for a direct cold proof. After looking around at different options, and being very pleased with my starter Goldie from Sour House, I purchased the Dough Bed and it has gotten me over that last hurdle beautifully! I love it!

This is my third Goldie. I am impressed that it now come with a power supply. Goldie is the best when it comes to starting and/or maintaining a starter year round. No temperature fluctuations. One less variable to worry about. My starters are strong and reliable. I am one of those "never put my starter in the refrierator" sourdough bakers. I love the Sourhouse starter jars. They are easy to clean and to see what is going on inside. The puck was a life saver. I had no idea how hot my undercounted lights could get. I freaked out when I saw the red light but the puck cooled it right down. Thank you for such a great product.

I’ve been using the Goldie from Sourhouse, and it’s made keeping my sourdough starter so much more consistent. It keeps my starter at a steady temperature, so I don’t have to worry about cold kitchens slowing things down or unpredictable rises. It’s simple to use, looks great on the counter, and has become one of those tools I use every single day. If you bake sourdough regularly, it’s definitely a tool worth considering.

I have 2 sets. Lots of thought by someone that knows what housing a starter requires designed these! Amazing!!! Glass either the best top & straight sides!
